I'm not going to go into great deal about this bucket list item.... I'll tell ya the situation though- Savannah, Amy, Dallin, Matt, Paul & I all went on a triple date. First of all, Matt took twenty years to get ready. Secondly, Dallin and I were starving! So we enjoyed a little bit of in-n-out. Thirdly, we had to go to the little carnival/fair because, well, they had a Ferris wheel! Other than that, just know that it happened. And that it was pretty fetching dece :) Wouldn't be a party without my main squeeze, Amy! Love that girl.

While I was in St Louis, MO this weekend we went to the Zoo. Which was very conveniently located a couple of blocks away from the apartment. And even more convenient was the fact that it was FREEEE?? I like free stuff! Makes my life way more enjoyable sometimes. I didn't get the chance to pet an animal at the zoo- I did get to pet a llama at the parade :) Yesterday we had the opportunity to go up to Salt Lake to deliver dinner to the homeless shelter. Talk about a reality check. I have so much in my life to be grateful for. As short as this little experience was (we just went up and dropped the food off basically) I hope to do it again! I think that it is good for us spoiled kids to get out of our 'perfect little world.' I am so glad that I have plenty of service opportunities in my life. I hope to just help everyone! I really do believe that we-individually- can make the world a better and happier place. How fun was this game?!? Jeez I kinda loved it! I got two tickets a little while ago- I wasn't even sure who I was going to take with me! But I met Chase and it was the perfect match! He played double A baseball at the University of Arkansas so he enjoyed the game quite a bit---- &&& explained everything to me :) Although, it was super chilly because of the rain and wind, still fun. Hopefully, I can go to another one when it is warm! Look at how bundled we are!
On Saturday, Amy and I went to the sweetest race ever. We loved every second of it! We walked around and looked at all of the cars and met some of the drivers. Then when we were finally going to sit down this guy stopped us and asked us to be flag girls! We had an all-access pass to all the garages and all of the tracks and the drivers. Best day of my life ;)
Saturday was also a 100 day. The list always goes on! Tim took me to the dino museum. Super duper fun :) We were both still in dinosaur mood so we watched Jurassic Park after! (Unfortunately, I totally passed out and missed basically the entire movie!)
Last night was seriously one of the best nights ever! The comedy show was flipping hilarious! It was the perfect show because all I heard that night was... "It's cause they're Asian!" Wow. That is all I have to say. Well actually I have a little more. One day I would like to be funny. You know the kind of funny that you don't even have to say anything and people laugh at you? Yeah that kind. Tim was such an awesome friend to come with me on for this bucket list 'date.' Gotta love it!
Yesterday was a hard day. I don't really know why. I think that a lot of things were building up and I just exploded. I decided that a burning ceremony was needed. It felt good. It was hard, but I think that it was good.
Okay, so basically the mountain with the Y on it is big enough for me. Don't worry I had to stop after every single freaking switchback. I was so happy that I conquered it!! I have accomplished something great hehehe. Alyssa- my darlin' from BYU IS- invited me to go. Little did I know that she and her boy were in ROCKING shape. Kill me. They left me in the dust and my new friend, John, was nice enough to stop with me and take a water break about every 2 minutes or so. I finally did the freshman hike... VIRGIN. I feel a little pathetic for taking so long though.
Also... GAH look how pretty it is. A kiss for the future hub bub. I actually put quite a bit of thought into this letter. He better appreciate it in.. let's say... five years?? I've sealed the envelope so wedding night will be the next time that it is read :) I had to draw something, I'm just so talented right?!?

HollieBack in 2011 I had a blog called, "life as a hollie" where I recorded one of the funnest summers of my life. This bucket list helped me get through a tough break up & figure out who Hollie really was. This ended up being one of the most influential summers of my life (thus far). Archives
